Common Core State Standards
In June 2010, ISBE adopted the Common Core State Standards as the new Illinois Learning Standards in English/Language Arts and Mathematics. On July 13, 2011, Dr. Susie Morrison, ISBE Deputy Chief Superintendent, presented the Common Core Summer Institute session in Rock Falls to district staff in Area 2.
