SOME QUESTIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
|
Is the student absent without parental explanation? |
Is there a pattern to the absences? |
|
Is the student absent frequently? |
Is the student experiencing academic problems? |
These are early warning signs, and if yes can be answered to any of these questions, there may be a truancy problem in the making. After 5 unexcused absences the LODIS program begins an official role after being notified by the school.
