Here we have compiled a
short history of our small midwestern town of Polo,
Illinois. We hope this will show anyone in the world how
interesting Polo really is. Our sources, the Bicentennial
History of Ogle County and Voice of the Prairie,
were published in the 1950's and 1970's, so, like all histories,
ours is not complete. Now we present to you the story of
Polo.
